Drumroll, please!

Starting on July 5, classes with Jamie and Catherine are back in person!
There is a lot of information in this email and all of it is important if you plan to attend classes in the studio.
Please read on for all the details and contact Jamie if you have questions.

In-Studio classes will resume on July 5th.

Things will be a little different than they were before COVID came to town though.

Case numbers in McLeod county have been good so far this summer, but we will be proceeding with caution as we move back to sharing a physical space with one another.

These precautions will be in place as we are getting used to being together again, and as we continue to monitor numbers in our area. We will revise our precautions as needed and as we figure out what works best for both teachers and students.

Limits on Class Sizes

Class sizes will all be limited to 8 students per class with mats spaced 6 feet apart.

Mask-to-Mat

I know  that masks are a very hot button issue for folks.
I know that most businesses do not ask you to wear them anymore.
I am looking for a compromise that makes everyone feel that their comfort and safety have been taken into consideration.

To attend class, students are asked to wear a mask anytime they are not on their mat. This means that you do not have to wear a mask while you are practicing.

Masking is currently required when you enter the space, as you settle in, until you get to your mat. It is also required if you head up front to use the bathroom (remember, the hallway/bathrooms are a shared space with another business).

I know  that masks feel inconvenient, but I want to remind you that both of your teachers have immunocompromised family members that they are trying to protect, and that other students may be immunocompromised as well.
You cannot tell if someone has a healthy immune system by looking at them, so please believe someone if they tell you they are at risk.

This policy applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated students and teachers.

This rule won't last forever, and may even change quickly as we get settled back in and get comfortable being together again. If you have any concerns, questions, or want to have a discussion about this rule, please contact me and we can chat.

Class Registration

Because of the size limit on classes, you MUST register for the class ahead of time.

Please utilize our online registration. This is the best way to help your teachers prepare for class and to make sure we stay within our class size limit.

It is important that you sign up for an account through our website to register for classes and purchase class passes.

If you aren’t sure how to do that, click

here and follow the directions.

If you need more assistance and someone to walk you through the process of setting up an account and registering for classes, contact Jamie and she will help you!

Remember, classes are limited to 8 students and registration closes 15 minutes prior to the beginning of class.

Registration for each class opens two week prior to the class date.

Cancelling a Registration

If you are signed up for a class, and then are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 12 hours before the class time.

Because class sizes are limited, any no-show that did not cancel their registration in a full class will have a punch deducted for that class.

COVID-19 Safety Plan

Any COVID exposures in the studio will be communicated to all exposed students.

Our full COVID Preparedness Plan will be available to read on our

website

The page is currently blank, but the plan will be posted prior to being back in person for classes.

What About Online Classes?

Unfortunately we are currently unable to stream classes at the same time we do them in person. I had hoped we would be able to, but it is not an option for us at this time.

If you have classes remaining on your pass and are only able to attend virtually, please contact Jamie and we can figure out a way to get you some online yoga until your pass is used up.

There may be some online classes peppered into the schedule from time to time. Keep an eye out for them and let me know if you want to see more of them!

Don't Forget!
Remember that at some point this summer, Catherine will be moving and plans to continue offering her classes online once she does.

If it is important to you to attend class with Catherine in person before she leaves, make sure to catch one of her July classes in the studio. Once August hits, she may be back to online classes.

The End... For Now

Whew. I know that was a lot. If you have ANY questions, comments, or concern about any of the above: contact me! I want to make this transition a smooth one and want to keep our studio as a space that feels safe for everyone.

This information will be on our website, and I will continue to update you all as I realize details I may have missed.
Please be patient as I try to make sure everything is updated and all information is current across all our social media platforms and website. If you are not sure you have the most up-to-date information at any given time, please ask!

Take care and hope to see you soon,
Jamie
